Show Notes

Rob and Paul host Monica Martinez of Darby’s TechForce division live from the Darby booth at the GNYDM 2019. In this episode, the Amigos chat with Monica about cybersecurity and ransomware- what they mean to a dental practice, what dentists should be doing to protect themselves from cyber-attacks, as well as the importance of training your dental team and the role that insurance and consulting plays in protecting against attacks (spoiler alert- don’t DIY this stuff). With over 30 years of experience in the dental industry, Monica began her career as a dental assistant and office manager. After a successful tenure as an independent reseller for practice management and imaging at Henry Schein, she was promoted to the role of Zone Manager, where she led the company’s Digital Technology and Practice Management Division. Monica brought her wealth of experience, success and leadership to Darby, where she serves as Director of Technology and Practice Solutions and leads Darby’s TechForce Division. Listeners can learn more about TechForce by going to www.DarbyTechforce.com and Monica Martinez can be contacted via email at Mo*************@***by.com.
