Growing up singing and dancing she received a BFA in Musical Theatre from UWSP, and then performed and choreographed professionally throughout the midwest. In 2008, three weeks after baby #3 was born and she started her own dance studio, The Dancing House in her 800 square foot basement. She quickly grew her program and added an online membership called Dance on Demand. As an established entrepreneur, Melissa is often asked to speak and coach other brick and mortar entrepreneurs. Through her own podcast, Brick and Mortar Visibility, Melissa is able to educate and share her passion for brick-and-mortar entrepreneurship with other badass ladies who want to create the life of their dreams through their kick-ass business. Melissa lives in Hudson, WI with her five kiddos ages 8-17 years. She is often asked, “How’d you juggle it all?” Wake up a little earlier, listen a little more, and be ok with B+ work.
