In this week’s Dental Handoff, Dr. Kelly Tanner makes the ‘dental handoff’ to fellow dental hygienist, Marvelyn Navarro! Marvelyn is an accomplished Dental Hygienist with 15 years in the field, including 8 years of specialization. Since graduating in 2016, she has pursued professional growth and mastered innovative technologies like dental endoscopes. Marvelyn is also a passionate educator, speaker, and advocate, focusing on periodontal issues, airway health, and the oral-systemic link.
She has worked as a clinical educator, speaker, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Young Innovations. An active American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) member, she currently is President Elect for Nevada, she seeks to advance patient care and dental education. As Co-Founder of Perio Precise, Marvelyn helps dental offices combat periodontal disease, offering clinical coaching and patient education. Outside of work, she enjoys family life, traveling to 20 countries, and dancing.
