The Dental Amigos host Dr. Erin Elliott, a practicing general dentist and dental practice owner in North Idaho with a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine and Short Term Orthodontics. Paul and Rob chat with Dr. Elliott about the importance of seeking mentoring and of confidence for young dentists, the importance of working on networking and business skills as an associate and the benefits (and hurdles) of integrating sleep medicine in a general dentistry practice. Dr. Elliott has lectured extensively on this topic and loves to help general dentists extend this life-saving service to their patients. She is an active member of her local American Dental Association, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and is the past president and a Diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. She teaches sleep apnea with 3D-Dentists and Dr. Tarun Agarwal and also privately coaches practices about sleep medicine.
