The Retreat 2023 is coming this November! Dr. Ashley would like you to get to know our speakers. Allow us to introduce Dr. Kyle Stanley!
Dr. Kyle Stanley, an international speaker and prominent figure in dentistry, has shifted his focus to addressing critical topics related to mental health, burnout, depression, and anxiety among dental professionals. He was once at the pinnacle of his clinical career but experienced extreme stress, even considering quitting dentistry. However, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery and explored positive psychology and the psychology of overachievers, which led him to prioritize his mental well-being.
Dr. Stanley founded the Light Side Academy in response to the need for mental health support within the dental profession. The academy offers an online course, bi-monthly support groups, Mastermind groups, and live courses, aiming to help dental professionals with their mental and relational health.
In an upcoming event called "The Retreat," Dr. Stanley will be a keynote speaker, addressing various misconceptions in dentistry and the importance of leadership. He emphasizes the need for dentists to appreciate and support their employees better. The event promises a deep and meaningful discussion on these crucial issues, and it's an opportunity for attendees to connect with like-minded colleagues.
