So everyone takes time off between Christmas and New Year’s Day, right? All that eating and college football means there’s not enough time for a new podcast, right?

Dr. Shawn Van de Vyver joins Alan to talk about dental insurance, health insurance and having some empathy for the dental patient that wants to use their benefits. Then they dig into the idea of doing an “interview” with a new patient during their first exams and building up “emotional capital” (Shawn’s fancy word).
